Summer Riding Camp
Paramount Equestrian
Centre Ltd. has been offering lessons and summer riding camps to young
riders for the past 25 years. We are located just 2 kms south of Calgary.
Our Goal: To
offer young riders a safe, fun and friendly environment to learn the basic
skills of English riding and horsemanship. We also offer a place where
the skills they learn can advance them to further opportunities such as
volunteers, stable hand employees, trainers, and instructors at Paramount

Activities:
Riding, basic jumping, demonstrations, horse grooming, feeding, horsemanship
competitions and more

Previous Riding Experience:
None required
Ages: 6 - 14
Cost: $420 - GST included
Time: Monday to Friday -- 9:00 until 4:00
Dates: July 7-11, July 21-25, July 28-Aug 1, August 18-22

Summer Camp Volunteer
Pre-requisite
- must have
completed at least 2 Paramount Summer Camps
- 15 years
or older
Summer Camp Assistant (paid position)
Pre-requisite
- have completed
at least 2 weeks of Paramount Summer Camp
- have been
a volunteer at six Paramount Camps
- Successfully
completed an Assistant Instructor written exam
- 16 years
or older
- successfully
completed the Assistant Instructor Weekend Riding course.
